Place in the Organisation
The incumbent is responsible to the Emergency Coordinator.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
In accordance with Agency policy and procedures regarding the emergency coordination unit, the incumbent:
· Processes/ Enters all data, needs assessments and case studies pertaining to Palestinian Refugees fleeing Syria (PRS) into the computerized database.
· Produces statistical reports related to PRS to all stakeholders;
· Follows-up with Emergency / Protection Social Workers and Eligibility & Registration clerk to ensure that registration records of PRS are up-to-date.
· Produces services cards/registration certificates to PRS.
· Coordinates with Data Analyst on all technical issues related to the computerized data base.
· Responsible for logistical issues related to stationary and needed hardware.
· Compiles daily work sheets filled by Emergency Social Workers
· Attend Emergency trainings and meetings when required.
· Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
· Post-secondary diploma in social work or business administration.
· At least one year experience in Data Entry work; preferably within the UN agencies scope.
· Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
· Awareness of eligibility and registrations terms/codes.
Equivalency
When the minimum requirements are not fully met, the concerned Director may exceptionally substitute part of the unmet requirements with a combination of relevant academic qualifications, additional professional training and progressive relevant work experience.
NB: Work experience alone or formal qualifications with no relevant work experience are not considered an acceptable combination.
