POSITION: Medical Delegate – JO
DIVISION: Nutrition
LOCATION: Jordan
Reporting To: Medical Field Manager
Major Responsibilities
·Must be a reliable source of information on infant nutrition and infant feeding practices for his / her contacts in areas that interest or affect them in their regular practice. Any questions / problems not handled by the Medical Delegate should be reported to the Field Supervisor – Nutrition.
·Follow cycle detailing guidelines ensuring that scientific factual information reach the contacts and communication objectives achieved.
·Provide feedback to the Field Supervisor on his medical visits and acceptance of the communication by his contacts.
·Actively participate in company organized training courses, seminars, etc.
·Organize medical / scientific group meetings and presentations to his contacts to enhance their knowledge on Infant Nutrition.
·Maintain an up to date contacts census and master list of all contacts in his / her territory.
·Classify all contacts according to criteria as set by Field Supervisor/Field Operations Manager.
·Plan his medical visits enabling maximum efficiency and coverage.
·Maintain and update all information on his contacts either manually or electronically through his / her PDA’s.
·Should achieve targeted call frequency and territory coverage.
·Should seek out new contacts in his area of coverage.
·Should keep the Field Supervisor informed about changes that take place in his / her territory.
Key Experiences:
•University degree in Pharmaceutical Science or Medicine
•2-4 years of experience.
