(USAID LENS)
The USAID Jordan Local Enterprise Support Project (LENS) is a five-year project, implemented by PHI 360 that supports
small business growth and better economic planning to strengthen Jordanian communities against economic adversity.
USAID LENS brings local governments. business owners and key community groups to collaborate together on
initiatives that will boost economic development and create jobs in their communities. These initiatives will be focused
on supporting the growth of micro and small enterprises (MSEs) and inclusive of women, youth and other vulnerable
groups.
Junior Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant: The Junior Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant is responsible for
contributing to the USAiD LENS’ overall M&E system, and has primary responsibility for ensuring the complete and
accurate digitization of data collection and into the LENS Knowledge Management System (KMS). The work will consist
heavily of entering written data into the KMS from numerous sources such as sign-in-sheets, excel records received
from partners, and evaluation forms. The Jr. M&E Officer will work in collaboration with staff to design M&E data tools
for program components, develop and manage data collection processes, ensure accuracy and timeliness of data entry,
ensure that implementation of field activities adheres to USAID LENS‘ monitoring and evaluation system, and
contribute to M&E reporting for USAID against primary indicators and for other specialized reports.
Qualifications: The position requires a minimum of: a BSc Degree in a related field and at least 3 years experience in
data collection and analysis. Previous experience with environmental studies and environmental monitoring programs
is preferred. Good command in Arabic and English is a must.
