TITLE: Arabic facilitator/Classroom TEAM/PROGRAMME: Education LOCATION: Amman CHILD SAFEGUARDING: Level 3 – the responsibilities of the post may require the post holder to have regular contact with or access to children or young people ROLE PURPOSE:
- Responsible for the implementation of teaching and learning process.
- Administratively, this position follows the principal of the Center.
- Technically, follows the Academic Supervisor.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: Support the delivery of effective Programmes, in both development and humanitarian contexts, by:
- Commits to attend training courses held by the program management.
- Commits to implement and use the learning materials of informal education program.
- Participate in the development of weekly educational plan.
- Apply diagnostic tests and place children according to the results into sub-levels.
- Prepare remedial plans according to the results of diagnostic tests.
- Participate in the preparation and implementation of Open Days.
- Cooperate and coordinate with technical and administrative staff.
- Cooperate with parents for the benefit of their children.
- Receive facilitator’s teaching kit; identify its components and know how to use the available tools.
- Use the informal education curriculum, and implement it according to the scheduled plan.
- Apply modern teaching and assessment strategies and tools.
- Organize the physical environment of the classroom according to teaching methods described in lesson plans and prepare teaching aids.
- Comply with the agreed center’s policy regarding children’s attendance and transportation, working hours, duties, etc.
- Comply with Save the Children’s Child Safeguarding Policy.
- Assess children’s performance on a daily basis to develop their capacities and hold midterm and final exams.
- Provide the monitor with children’s results to be entered to Bayanati system.
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor for all of them

Competencies QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE - B.A in Arabic language.
- At least 3 years experience in teaching.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to use computer software and applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and work in a team
- High degree of seriousness and professionalism in work.
- Commitment, motivation and self-learning.
- Flexible and self-directed.
- Good conduct and reputable.
