Closing date: 28 May 2017 Restrictions: Candidates must have valid residency and work permit in Jordan.DetailsPurpose Of JobTo provide administrative and logistical support for a new and integrated approach to the pursuit of all English contract work. The post holder will ensure that the delivery of all programmes and related events are professionally managed, and contribute to the objective of positioning the British Council as the partner of choice for English language teaching and teacher training.Accountabilities And ResponsibilitiesThe post holder is expected to play an effective role in the delivery and evaluation of projects and events which enable British Council Jordan to achieve defined regional and local targets for impact. Responsibilities: In agreement with their Project Manager and in collaboration with internal and external customers, the post holder will be responsible for performing a range of project support tasks in line with time, cost and quality standards, and in accordance with British Council values and corporate policies (Child Protection, Equal Opportunities and Diversity).Role Specific Knowledge & ExperienceAn understanding of teaching / teacher training and local context.
