ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodation.
Assist the case management teams in improving quality and timely documentation and implementation of care plans, as well as, mapping of community support services WGBM in vulnerable situation.
Contribute to the case management file, including assessments, treatment plan and quality assurance measures (HoNOS) and client functioning scale.
Monitor on-going care plan development with special attention to safety issues and stabilizing the family from the effects of domestic violence.
Coordinate the provision of social services to clients, families, and significant others to enable these parties to deal with the impact of illness on individual family functioning and to achieve maximum benefits from healthcare services.
Conduct review for appropriate utilization of services from admission through discharge/termination.
Evaluate client satisfaction and quality of care provided.
Ensure involvement of local authorities, community leaders, and community groups in creating community network which increase access to better health and social services for vulnerable population in the Camp.
Provide psychological assistance with the aim to improve the social and psychological functioning of clients and their families, maximizing overall community well-being.
Offer specialized and direct therapeutic support for SGBV cases.
Monitor and take lead on quality assurance procedures in all IMC’s supported clinics.
Take lead on new hire orientation and training.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management staff as required; contribute to donor reports and internal IMC reports as required.
Perform other job-related duties as requested by Supervisor.
Deliverables:
Provide group and individual counseling and guidance to clients.
Develop care plans that are individualized and mutually developed with the client.
Assist and train case managers on supporting group’s techniques and evaluation.
Conduct in-take and psychosocial assessments of each client.
Work in close collaboration with the protection case managers and MHPSS team.
Oversee the referral to specialized psychological service providers for higher level care and other services as needed.
Conduct psychosocial and awareness activities in IMC safe spaces and clinics.
Deliver training on PFA, SOP and PSS of most vulnerable cases (SGB V, early marriage)
Contribute to proposals and report writing of PSS activities.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree, Master or Bachelor in Psychology and Counseling.
Minimal of 1 years of experience in similar position,
Familiarity with international humanitarian operations, coordination structures, and the mandates of donors, UN agencies, and other NGOs
Ability to exercise sound judgment, to remain flexible to a changing environment, and to make decisions independently.
Strong communication skills English/Arabic, both oral and written.
Ability to create and implement PSS and awareness activities work plans
Bachelor or Master Degree in any related field.
