ROLE PURPOSE:
The Reporting and Documentation Coordinator is responsible for supporting in producing quality donor reports and proposals, as well as strengthening systems to generate these documents. This includes working with a variety of departments including: awards, logistics, communications, and programmes, to complete reporting requirements and ensure donor compliance. The role is also responsible for supporting with reports and proposals to the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC) and Ministry of Social Development (MoSD).

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Support the delivery of effective programmes, in both development and humanitarian contexts, by:
Taking the lead on producing high quality donor reports in a timely manner and in compliance with donor requirements. This includes effectively liaising with different teams (e.g. MEAL, logistics, Operations, TA, etc.) to gather the information required for the reports.
Creating and ensuring data collection templates are populated by relevant parties (field teams and MEAL team), including following up.
Supporting field offices to strengthen internal reporting (including the Monthly Management Reports) mechanisms.
Supporting in responding to donor requests for programmatic and financial information.
Supporting with the logistical tracking of reporting requirements of all active grants.
Supporting the PDL Coordinator in drafting proposals and concept notes as required.
Coordinating with other sectors and departments for the provision of any additional reporting, documentation and editing support required.
Show flexibility and willingness to work on short deadlines and long working hours, and actively participate with incoming surge teams in the event of a crisis or emergency.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
University degree in development studies, English language or other relevant discipline
3-4 years of work experience with a national or international non-governmental organization(s)
Proven experience of technical writing, reporting, documentation and data entry
Excellent PC/database skills and knowledge
Strong organizational, interpersonal/cross-cultural communication, and time-management skills
Fluent in English and Arabic oral and written communication skills
Desirable:
Background knowledge in child/ youth protection, education, child right governance and emergencies
