Position: Finance Assistant
Work place: Amman, Jordan
Report to: Country Finance & Admin Manager
Key responsibilities:
The Finance Assistant is responsible for supporting INTERSOS activities and staff with admin/finance tasks on daily basis. He/she is expected to be honest and transparent and keep the necessary level of confidentiality on information acquired on the job.
- Manage petty cash and perform monthly cash reconciliation.
- Ensure all accounting records and supporting documentation for all financial transactions are maintained in a systematic order.
- Record daily registrations and ensure all invoices and supporting documents are completed appropriately.
- Prepare purchase Requests and ensure all accounting records and supporting documentation for all financial transactions are maintained in a systematic order and filed;
- Ensuring good record keeping and filing of archive.
- Draft formal letters and documents in Arabic for administrative purposes
- Assist in logistics tasks as requested.
- Any other duties not listed above and necessary for the implementation of the activities.
