The Museum is a national institution registered as an NGO and works in providing informal learning experiences to children aged between 1 and 12 years old. The Children’s Museum receives 300,000 visitors annually from schools and families from all backgrounds. The Museum is located inside the King Hussein Park (www.cmj.jo).
About the position :
Under this position, the candidate will be reporting to the Art programs Supervisor.
The Art Studio Facilitator will Responsible for implementing Art Studio programs, delivering educational offerings and maintaining the Art Studio space to ensure enjoyable, safe and educational visits, in addition to Interacting with visitors (mainly children) and ensuring a pleasant experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
- To facilitate and guide visitors’ learning experience through a process of assisted discovery by conducting programs inside the Art Studio and assist and support visitors with disabilities to ensure an enjoyable and beneficial visit.
- To read and review the Art Studio programs.
- To prepare the Art Studio program decoration.
- To maintain the Art Studio inventory stock and report any shortage in materials to the Content Developer.
- To assist and guide visitors’ learning experience by conducting sessions, demonstrations and programs inside the Art Studio.
- To support the education team with art material as and when requested.
- To report to the direct manager on program evaluation and number of participants.
- To maintain Art Studio items in the best condition to ensure readiness and safety in coordination with the Maintenance Department and ensure malfunctioning items are reported and dealt with properly.
- To adhere to the Education and Programs Department and Museum policies and procedures.
- To maintain a level of content knowledge of exhibits in general and art related activities in particular.
- To adhere to department and Museum policies and procedure.
- To perform other job-related tasks assigned by the direct Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in arts, arts history or any related field.
- (0-2) Years of experience.
- Good command of English; spoken and written.
Native Arabic speaker with good writing and reporting skills
