As the Digital Marketing Manager you will plan and execute marketing activity and communication campaigns. You will advise on and develop the marketing needs ensuring that Jamalon’s performance is maximised while ensuring the needs of customers are constantly considered and undertake all aspects of marketing.
You will be responsible for increasing Jamalon’s external profile through the media, website and other digital platforms. This will see you delivering integrated marketing and communications campaigns. This is therefore a broad marketing and communications role including media.
Dimensions
The post holder will be experienced in the full marketing mix and work both operationally and strategic to develop marketing plans as well as tactical delivery.
This is a hands-on, autonomous role and the individual will need to be comfortable working on their own initiative.
Main Accountabilities:
Marketing
• To work with the CMO and CEO, to develop the overall strategic marketing plans for Jamalon.
• To actively take part in the forward planning process and ensure all key marketing requirements and activities are included in the marketing plan• To provide day-to-day tactical support and advice on marketing communications issues and brand management to other teams and senior managers across the organisation• To build and manage relationships with a range of partner organisations to ensure messages are consistent• To remain at the forefront of current developments and trends with regards to marketing channels and tools – ensuring that campaigns/tools are consistently fresh, innovative and engaging.
Communications and Media Relations
• To develop and implement media and communications strategies which contribute to the achievement of Jamalon’s aims and objectives through media coverage and communications channels, including development of organisational messages, themes and core values.
• To create and implement communications and media strategies which raise the profile of Jamalon• To help in writing articles, blogs, press releases, statements and internal and external briefings as required• To develop and manage relationships with media agency.
Digital Marketing
• To create an online and social media strategy to maximise the potential of digital marketing channels
• Day-to-day management of the digital channels to ensure performance is at its best• To plan and evaluate effectiveness of proactive and reactive online and social media relations activities.• Create and manage an effective email marketing plan.• Manage affiliate marketing channel to achieve maximum results.
• Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing campaigns.

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Marketing Diploma or equivalent

• Certification in Google products, Digital Marketing or related professional certificates.

• Proven track record in working on an ecommerce website
• Proven track record in effectively supporting the development of and delivering marketing plans from inception to completion
• Experience of developing integrated marketing and communications strategies across a range of media
• Experience in brand management and working within corporate identity guidelines
• Excellent professional written and verbal communication with strong written communication skills for a wide range of audiences
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience of delivering projects to tight deadlines and prioritising workload.
• Proven experience of building effective relationships with a variety of partners/stakeholders.
• Experience with Google Adwords
