Accountabilities and Key Roles:
- Model and update Operations processes (jointly with all respective functions).
- Establish / reflect / update product policies, procedures and related documentation for HO and PLC countries.
- Establish procedures jointly with all respective functions.
- Ensure P&P coverage of risks and controls with focus on streamlining end-to-end processes.
- Ensure owned process flows, P&P and related forms are continuously updated as per set cycle or upon change.
- Ensure timely action and follow up for P&P managed by other teams.
- Maintain an updated registry of processes and P&Ps for HO and countries.
- Ensure that all processes are fully updated, approved and published.
- Gathering and analyzing process requirements for owned P&Ps. Design process flows and develop process documents in related P&P tool.
- Establish the P&P grouping for all operations-related P&Ps in a way to establish unified standards and provide a comprehensive manual/guide for operations staff to conduct their work in the most effective manner in HO and the countries.
- Prepare / update policies and procedures and related forms to reflect latest set up taking into consideration maintaining limited gaps and covering legal, regulatory and risk requirement. Ensure timely approval and resolution of open items.
- Prepare training material / conduct training sessions as part of P&P implementation and roll out.
- Maintain a strong teamwork environment within and outside the team.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Education:
University degree in Industrial Engineering from a recognized university.
Experience:
Up to 5 years experience in Operations or related function in a leading bank.
Competencies:
- Good in English and in Arabic.
- Strong business writing skills
- Good modeling and process charting skills
- Ability to deliver against tight deadlines
- Basic risk / control focus and knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Communication skills
- Computer skills – Intermediate Microsoft office
