A USAID funded activity is looking to hire a Community Outreach Specialist.
The successful candidate will oversee community outreach program for reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health which conducts home visits to women and their families in all 12 governorates. Develop/Update strategy for the program to effectively cover the necessary health topics. Work with NGO partners to assure effective implementation of the program and to manage the capacity building activities for community health workers including counselling guidelines.and ensure the timely data collection and reporting according to M&E requirements.

Qualifications
• Minimum BA in Public Health, Community Health, Sociology, Social Work, Nursing or other relevant field.
• At least eight (8) years of professional experience in community engagement health activities in Jordan.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; complete fluency in written and spoken Arabic and in written and spoken English.
• Solid understanding of FP/RH and gender issues in Jordan.
• Direct experience in supporting USAID- or other donor-funded health programs preferred.
• Strong knowledge in using MS (Office,Excel and Powerpoint).
