Job description
We are looking for an ambitious Accountant to provide support to the financial department by performing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for Luminus Education finances.
Performing day-to-day work is the big part of his responsibilities and duties. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.
The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help Luminus Education be fully aware of its financial condition. This way it can make the right decisions and accomplish long-term success.
1.1 Responsibilities and duties
· Process journal entries and ensure all business transactions are recorded.
· Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
· Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
· Analyse and reconcile bank statements and general ledger.
- Maintain and record fixed assets, fixed asset additions, depreciation and amortization entries.
- Work with Project Management Office to develop and maintain a monthly cash flow forecasting for overall and individual projects.
- Ensure all project invoices are prepared and provided on a timely basis.
- Prepare documents and information required for project audit purposes
· Assist senior accountants in the preparation of weekly, monthly and yearly closing requirements.
· Assist with other accounting projects.
- Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Fresh graduate or one-year experience as Accountant.
- Experience in ERP system is a plus
- Good command of English
- High skill in MS office, particularly Excel
