تعلن هيئة الاغاثة الدولية في عدد من محافظات المملكة عن حاجتها الى :

1- Remedial Education Coordinator (Amman, Mafraq, Irbid or Zarqa )
Essential Position Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and performance monitoring of Remedial Education teacher, community mobilizers, PSS facilitators and life skills coaches s for remedial education intervention. .
  • Work closely with school administration to ensure adequate classroom availability and safety for classes.
  • Facilitate upgrades to the targeted schools per the program plan.
  • Manage classroom scheduling including life skills and PSS sessions and ensure correct documentation for all classrooms, including not limited to attendance, academic performance, etc.
  • Facilitate administrative aspects of contracting and payments for teachers and related personnel for the Remedial Education.
  • Liaise with school principals, Ministry of Education and Directorate of Education as required to ensure smooth, compliant and well-coordinated implementation of the program.
  • Follow up with lesson plan development based on Ministry of Education curriculum and assist with coordinating classes in different subjects.
  • Work closely with Directorates of Education and school principals regarding the establishment of Multi-Purpose learning rooms based on the schools needs assessment.
  • Managing materials support to RE students including the distribution of snacks and student kit and transportation.
  •  Facilitate conducting training workshops to RE teachers, school teachers, community mobilizers , PSS facilitators and life skills coaches.
  • Work closely with school principals and teachers facilitating PTAs meetings and outreach activities.
  • Facilitate and schedule conducting community awareness sessions and the meetings for school safety committees.
  • Provide support through guidance and advice for teachers and other education staff as needed.
  • Ensure coordination with other education services provided in the geographic area.
  • Attend education related meetings, governorate level coordination meetings,   group discussions and Education Sector Working Group as requested.
  • Ensure data collection and reporting in a high quality and timely manner as required.
  • Work closely with other team members to facilitate other key elements of the overall program, including but not limited to Senior Technical Education Advisor, Youth Coordinator and Protection Officers.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum requirements:
  • BA or BS in education, or related field. Master degree preferred.
  • At least five years’ experience in education or management related position. Knowledge and experience in Jordan education system and MoE will be considered.
  • Experience working with disadvantaged children and youth, especially refugees, will be considered as an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Strong integrity, honesty and determination to uphold the values of the organization.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple people and tasks calmly while facing pressure.
  • Use of creativity to find alternative solutions.
  • Arabic fluency is required, good command of English is strongly preferred.

2-  Youth Coordinator
Location: Amman, with frequent travel to other areas of Jordan
Essential Position Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Provide career advice for RI’s remedial education students.
  • Support students in applying for scholarships, including identifying available opportunities as well as support in preparing needed paperwork.
  • Follow up on students who pass Tawjihi exam and enroll in post-secondary education by collecting feedback and sharing it with RI field management.
  • Follow up on the needs of students who do not pass Tawjihi exam and propose and lead on activities to address challenges for passing exams.
  • Organize a range of activities such as educational and recreational field trips to universities.
  • Link students with existing youth networks.
  • Identify additional, creative and innovative supplementary learning opportunities.
  • Develop and implement a series of workshops aimed at mastering students’ 21st century skills (including but not limited to: critical thinking and problem solving; communications and collaboration; creativity and innovation; information literacy; media literacy, ICT literacy; flexibility and adaptability, initiative and self-direction, social and cross-cultural interaction, productivity and accountability, etc).
  • Lead in organization of events, recreational activities, and extracurricular opportunities for students and parents.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

3- Protection Officer
Location: Amman, with frequent travel to other areas of Jordan
Summary:
The Protection Officer will be responsible for protection mainstreaming within RI’s remedial education program and act as the protection referral focal point. S/he will also represent RI in all protection-related meetings, groups, or initiatives.
 Essential Position Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Work closely with all RI departments and relevant stakeholders to ensure protection considerations are mainstreamed throughout all aspects of the program
  • Provide technical support to staff and teachers implementing a range of protection (child labor and violence against children), and psychosocial activities in program locations with an emphasis on quality
  • As applicable, support interventions targeting working children and ensure linkages with other stakeholders to respond the issue
  • Ensure quality standards are met in protection interventions
  • Building capacity of staff on protection action planning for protection committees and child clubs
  • Building capacity of staff on protection monitoring, referral and skills in dealing with children.
  • Act as referrals focal point for RI’s program, manage, track and refer cases.
  • Maintain strong coordination with other sectors to ensure the integrated programming and mainstreaming protection.
  • Help to ensure Standard Operating Procedures to refer cases for protection and GBV are used by staff
  • Uses results from the MEAL system to inform current and future interventions
  • Ensure adherence to the Child Safeguarding Policy and reporting procedures
  • Participates in the Child Protection relevant meetings and working groups
  • Undertake any other task assigned by supervisor
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • University degree in Social Work or any relevant area
  • Substantial experience in the field of child protection.
  • Ability to identify the main gaps in child protection in the given context to inform a holistic response for children.
  • Commitment to and understanding of child rights, RI’s aims, values and principles and humanitarian standards as Sphere Charter and Code of Conduct.
  • Good knowledge of and experience in using established inter-agency standards and guidelines in child protection.

4- Program Manager
Location: Amman, with frequent travel to other areas of Jordan (Greater Amman, Mafraq, Irbid and Zarqa)
 Position Summary:
 Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Program Manager will be responsible for the oversight, management of all program components, and management of the implementation team for a Remedial Education program to implemented in the host community at Ministry of Education formal schools, targeting both Syrian refugee and Jordanian upper grade students at targeted schools in Mafraq, Irbid, Zarqa and Amman Governorates. This position coordinates program implementation by leading program planning and monitoring, managing operational aspects, capacity building, providing staff coordination and resolving site-level implementation issues. This position will work with the Program Director to ensure proper coordination at the national and field levels.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Program Management (Implementation and Reporting)
  • Act as the primary point of contact with regards to the day-to-day implementation and overall management matters within the host Communities
  • Ensure efficient implementation of RI’s education program the host community in line with the approved project proposal, budget and donor guidelines
  • Anticipate issues and suggested solutions to the relevant staff, including Program Director, Senior Technical Education Advisor, Grants Coordinator and Finance Manager among other to ensure adjustments are made to facilitate high quality service provision in line with program strategies
  • Coordinate senior site-level program and operational team staff to develop detailed work-plans and follow-up regularly with team members to ensure that activities are on track
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new strategies and activities to enhance program delivery in line with the identified needs of the beneficiaries and community
  • Ensure ongoing monitoring and evaluation of activities in coordination with the MEAL Team, ensuring RI standards are in place and flagging any concerns to the Program Director
  • Ensure satisfactory management of project budgets. This will require a monthly meeting with the in-country head of Finance to go over the BVA and update spend-down plans on a monthly basis.  Updated spend down plans are expected within 10 working days of the BVA release and are ultimately the responsibility of the in-country head of Finance, but it is required of the Host Communities Program Manager to ensure availability to meet with the in-country head of Finance to facilitate this for projects within their mandate.
  • Ensure compliance to RI’s and Donor’s regulations as it applies to the projects within the job-holder’s purview, and work closely with other departments to facilitate and provide needed advice accordingly.
  • Ensure the high quality submission of all required reports to external stakeholders as required, including but not limited to donors and sector external platforms (ie, Activity Info, etc).  This will be coordinated with program and MEAL teams, and donor reports approved by Program Director before submission.
  • Represent RI, in collaboration with other relevant team members, with peer agencies, partner organizations, government agencies, public services, community leaders, parent groups and other stakeholders.
  • Develop, follow and regularly update work plan for overall program and each project.
  • Promote positive centers and team environment promoting and leading internal communications and collaboration across multiple sub-teams.
  • Ensure direct liaison with UNICEF and other stakeholders in the host Communities regarding project deliverables as relevant, including but not limited to: beneficiary referrals and cross-checking, training and reporting for sector/SOPs.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and tools to support implementation and monitoring of the project.
  • Support the development of “Success Stories” and other communications materials, to be led by the Communications Officer but supported by the program team managed by the Host Communities Program Manager.
  • Work closely with other departments in RI-Lebanon (Finance, HR and Operations) to ensure grant compliance in accordance with RI and Donor policies and regulations.
  • Promote child protection and gender mainstreaming and ensure their implementation in the field.
  • Work closely with logistics staff to ensure operations at centers are smooth and efficient.
  • Arrange and support donor field visits.
  • Lead on tasks associated with RI centers’ maintenance, functioning and expansion.
Team Management and Employee Supervision
  • Closely follow up on the recruitment of staff within the relevant program as necessary in cooperation with HR.
  • Manage the staff of the relevant program team, including but not limited to: employee relations, task delegation, capacity building, teamwork and collaboration, completion of performance evaluations in a comprehensive and timely manner for all staff; and leaves’ management. Issues faced in any of the above mentioned tasks should be reported to the HR Department and all decisions taken should be in alignment with RI’s policies and procedures.
  • Provide clear guidance and regular feedback to staff under position holder’s supervision.
  • Plan and organize training and orientation activities in developing capacity for project staff.
  • Act as a mentor and role model for less experienced staff.
Internal and External Coordination
  • Keep Program Director and relevant Jordan-based staff well-informed regarding developments and emerging issues related to the implementation of the project, including participation in Interdepartmental meetings, and regular follow up with Program Director.
  • Submit monthly internal report to Program Director.
  • Stay updated regarding relevant education sector/ policies and guidelines from UN agencies; and communicate necessary updates to all relevant staff while ensuring the presence of appropriate improvement or changes in implementation accordingly.
  • Ensure coordination with UN agencies, INGOs and other actors in the host Communities as necessary.
  • Attend Coordination meetings, technical meetings intended to build technical and managerial capacity, and other relevant meetings as needed or requested by the Program Director.
  • Participate actively in Inter-Departmental Meetings as scheduled, coming prepared to the meeting to maximize usefulness for project implementation.
  • Meet on a bi-weekly basis with Regional Program Officer/ Regional Grants Officer based in Washington, DC/ Amman, Jordan to discuss program implementation, grant management and program quality issues.
  • Ensure positive field visits from donors, government, or other important external stakeholders, including ensuring a well-organized visit and responsiveness to any questions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management/ Education/Social Work/Youth development or similar field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years in a senior management position.
  • Experience working with children and youth.
  • Experience in adolescent and youth work.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, managerial and communication skills.
  • Previous managerial experience in the NGO sector, will be a distinctive asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, public speaking and strategic planning skills required, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues and partners.
  • Excellent time management skills and resourcefulness with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • High level of creativity and coordination.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
  • Information and computer literacy (MS Office package).
