Job Summary
Roles and Responsibilities:
The main role of the counselor is to provide prevention and intervention in the form of counseling sessions as well as offer social emotional leaning classes. Â Candidates will also have to contribute to the wellbeing program in the schools. The main duties and responsibilities of the job will include but are not limited to the following:
Offer timely, professional, and constructive follow up with students, parents, and teachers.
Maintain confidentiality of students and student issues within the confines of the school policy and procedures.
Refer students to external professionals when needed, and coordinate with them as required.
Contribute to creation, dissemination, and data gathering of surveys within the schools.
Attend and contribute to school programs and activities.
Monitor student behavioral and academic performance.
Any other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
University degree in Counseling, Preventive Mental Health, or Social Work, or Clinical Psychology.
Basic counseling and therapy skills is a plus.
2 or more years of experience.
Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic is essential.
Strong service orientation, flexibility and understanding of different school stakeholdersâ needs.
