2. JOB PURPOSE
The IT developer’s role is to design, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle. The IT developer will also analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required.
4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Collaborate with developers, programmers, and designers in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications.
- Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures.
- Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.
- Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
- Research, identify, analyze, and fulfill requirements of all internal and external program users.
- Liaise with vendors for efficient implementation of new software products or systems and for resolution of any adaptation issues.
- Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.
- Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of company applications as necessary.
- Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices.
6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or computer engineering.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Experience in the Microsoft Power Platform MS PowerApps, Flow, SharePoint, and Power BI
- Experience in the process automation platform (UiPath)
SKILLS
- Excellent English language verbal and written communication with strong documentation & writing skills.
- Strong .Net development experience with familiarity with C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience developing PowerApps model.
- Experience in customizing SharePoint lists and disparate systems with PowerApps
- Multi-task effectively between projects.
- Ability to create business processes and custom connectors with Microsoft Flow.
- Proficient working in Agile project methodologies.
