The ideal candidate will support and assist the manager of the Group Life and Medical Department in the duties and responsibilities and partner with the organization to achieve its strategic goals.
The suitable fit will assist in maintaining and enhance the department’s functions and profitability.
Responsibilities:
– Assist in maximizing profitability of the department products and portfolios.
– Grow the sales of the department according to the strategy of the company.
– Maintain and develop good relationships with existing and potential clients.
– Assist in maintaining the requested level of service for department operations
– Assist the department manager in managing employees of the department including back office and customer relationship employees.
– Cooperate with the Re-insurance department to complete necessary placements.
– Cooperate with the TPA to assure smooth and timely communication to achieve highest level of service to clients.
– Supervise outstanding premiums settlements and coordinate Collections matters and reconciliations with clients.
– Follow up on AML and corporate governance requirements and assure policies and procedures are strictly followed.
– Help the company maintain good relations with local and international brokers, reinsurance brokers, reinsurance companies and other local insurance companies to ensure smooth placement of business.
– Assist the GM and BoD in preparing, delivering and monitoring the strategic plan of the company.
– Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of the company’s financial statements, including the IC reports and claims bordereaux.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related fields
– Minimum 8 years’ experience in sales and back office operations of which at least 3 years at a managerial level
– Excellent communicator with strong influencing skills.
– Holder of Master’s degree and insurance license is a plus.
